I love the day after Christmas almost as much as Christmas day. It's so relaxed and the kids are still fascinated with their new toys rather than being a little overwhelmed with all the gifts to open.
My parents came up to see our Christmas today. We visited, ordered pizza and showed my parents the movie Court Jester. It was classic. While we watched our "grown-up show", E got snuggled on Hubs and my bed to watch a show of her own; a little Sofia the First. I had to get a shot of her surrounded by her hordes of toys. She got 2 ponies and those "Little People" princesses and she totes them around EVERYWHERE with her.
I like this shot. The lighting was great and I love that I approached this with a different angle. If there had been a way to get even higher above her to get a more direct shot looking down at her, I would've loved that. I also love that it captures the coziness of our Christmas bedspread; Hub's aunts made this for us for our wedding and we love using it during the Christmas season.
