Kids are funny. These two come up with the strangest things that they insist we do. We spend a lot of time reading and not always in expected places. Today's selected reading place was plop in the middle of our kitchen with toys scattered around. The selected reading material? A blank coloring book. Luckily my camera was nearby and with it held above my head I was able to capture this moment with both my kids sitting on my lap snuggled in for a good read.
I love these two and I love that they crowd to get a good spot on my lap for our reading adventures. How I treasure this time that I know will not last forever. I also love that dog at the top of the picture; the well loved toy that was in tow until B realized we were reading, at which point he dropped the beloved toy to join in on the reading.
I love these two heads with all my heart.
