It has begun. E is now officially planning activities for her younger siblings/cousins to participate in. In a couple years, these boys won't know what hit them! She'll trick them into wearing dresses, putting on plays, performing musical numbers, the works. I went down to check on the 3 amigos only to find that E had dragged out an extra piece of carpet and somehow lifted it up onto the stairs to make a slide. (That thing is HEAVY! Have you ever lifted carpet?)
Naturally, the sticky side was turned up, but they thought it was pretty great anyway. Of course, they didn't just slide down, they had to push with their hands and feet to bump down to the next step. But the diapered warriors were not to be deterred.
I am so thrilled that my kids are growing up with and near their cousins. That was one of the greatest blessings in my own life, and I'm blessed, that so far, my children will have that same gift to some extent. Can't wait to see what they come up with next month!
