Doing this project has brought to light the things that are most important to my children and also the things that we spend our time doing. Seeing as there have been lots of jumping pictures lately, apparently, they like to jump. Also, Happy Bear has made it in many a picture...must be a great toy.
It was getting dark, I needed a picture, so I went in search of the littles. And I found them. Both stripped down to their diapers (what is it with children and being naked?), and jumping off the bed onto Happy Bear. E made it look pretty awesome. My shutter speed needed to be really high in order to catch the movement but it was getting dark, so the ISO had to be cranked up as well-thus, the grain. But I think this captures childhood at it's finest. E has been enthralled with super heroes as of late and that combined with the thrilled look on her face makes me grin. This is childhood: carefree, joyful, adventurous, scary, thrilling, trusting, brave, and on and on.
