Jorie Love joined our family on September 26, 2015.  So far she is content, low key, loves the chaos that is our home, and has drawn us together.  I have found more patience with my other children and find more joy in my mothering.  I think a new little spirit straight from Heaven does that to us.  It's easier to remember what really matters, easier to remember that my mothering has a greater purpose, easier to simplify and say no to things that don't matter (partly because people expect you to pass on things when you have a new baby.)

All in all, she is a joy and I feel so blessed to be her mother, to be entrusted with her little spirit, to teach her about her Heavenly Father and her Savior, to help her remember.

This picture was taken when she was 3 days old.  She still had some jaundice and I'm so glad that I captured her like this.  She has already changed so much.  With her being my third, I am acutely aware of how fast these baby stages pass and I am already so sad that she has grown up so much.
