I randomly read a comment on a photography website that mentioned a "dot" that told you if your manual focus was on and tonight...I FOUND IT! The dot exists and it works. I can see that using the dot might be a lot more difficult with a moving target, but I'm excited to experiment with it tomorrow. For those who don't know, you will see a tiny circle appear in your view finder on the very far right side when your manual focus is correct. Just look at those crisp plastic bags!
I realize that this picture isn't too excited for most, but for me it's thrilling:) I love to organize and this shot marks my first official space organized for the year. Now that we've lived in our home for 7 months, I'm finding myself itching to make it work better for us. So that is my goal these next few weeks.
As far as organizing goes, people are always quite concerned about where the "right" place to put things is. For me, I know that I've organized well when a system is easy to maintain and stays maintained long term. That might mean that the keys are in my sock drawer rather than by the door (not the case, just an example) but if it works for how I work, then my house is well organized.
I'm including this shot not because of photography, but because it brings peace to my heart. I do have a few items that I'd love to buy to make the space even more functional (i.e. a riser so that I can have two levels in the front left, baskets to better coral...), but for now I'm only using what I have on hand, so this will have to do. This space is extremely hard to navigate. All under-sinks have pipes, but you can't even fit a MINI garbage can in here, so I couldn't store most of the things that make the most sense to me. I'm pleased with the first project. For my friends who know I love to label, never fear, that will happen tomorrow:)
