day 37: peek into my life

This is pretty much what my life looks like all day every day, toys scattered, children playing.  Sometimes they are fully clothed.  Sometimes they have taken their pants off for the ump-tenth time and you are busy snuggling a still-sick-baby so you let it slide (and take a picture of that refuses-to-go-on-the-potty 3 year old).  This stinker will wear big girl panties, run in the bathroom when she needs to go, but WILL NOT sit on the potty (big or little).  After we're all healthy I'm figuring this one out folks.  Until then and especially during, wish me luck!

I've been looking at photo-blogs and I've been so inspired by people's work with shadows and light (can you tell?  I've been dappling in it the last few days).  There is something so powerful and emotional about black and white with stark shadows.  I had to find some beauty in the shadows of my own home and I love the emotion that comes from this photo.  The one tractor is a little over exposed, as is E's leg (don't know how to fix that in Photoshop yet) and I wish I had changed the focus to that tractor in front, but I didn't have this photo in mind when I actually took the shot.  It is much cropped;)  But I love it all the same.
