day 39: green

I bought a plant at the store yesterday.  I love plants and when they are in my home and yard, my heart sings.  I spent 5 hours planting bulbs in my yard when I had the flu this last fall-that's how much I love plants.  My plant lusting begins in earnest each winter as I start getting tired of being stuck inside.  Somehow buying a few green things to go in my home fixes everything.  I wanted to buy some flowers, but the cheapest bouquet was $14.00 and this whole plant that will last years and years was $7.00.  SOLD.  It came home with me.

It just sweetens the deal that the plant looks beautiful on my old night-stand that I grew up with.  I loved rustic before it was cool and my heart is so happy that it sits in my home now for my own family to enjoy.
