J-Love 2 Months

I love this picture of Jorie.  This girl does not like being on her own.  I had just put her down to photograph her, and look at the intense worry in her little eyes.  She was absolutely making sure that I was right there and not leaving her. (About 2 seconds later, she started crying, because, of course, I should NEVER set her down!)  She spends every moment on her own crying:)  Good thing Briggs loves to comfort her.  He has been such a help when I need to make dinner, use the bathroom, or brush my teeth;).  He will lay down next to her with his face literally 1 cm away from her and stroke her hair and hold her pacifier in her mouth for her-he coos "It's ok Jo-E!  It's ok Jor-Jor!"  He literally buys me at least 5-10 minutes just by being by her.  He is truly a great brother to her.  Eden is my good helper and while she doesn't love to lay by Jorie contantly, she loves getting her the paci, running to grab diapers, or wipes, singing to Jorie, or anything else to help her.  She is sure one loved little girl!

We feel so blessed to have had her for 2 months.  Also, I'm already over the overcast weather (only for photo-taking).  I need more light streaming in my windows.

Stats for J-Love at 2 months...
Weight: 10 lbs 1 oz (15%tile)
Height: 23 inches (40%tile)
Sleep: Giving me one 4 hour stretch and the rest 3 hour goes.  Still will only sleep in her swing.  We plan to transition her around 3 months (that's when my other kids seemed to be able to make the switch).  Swaddled.  With Pacifier
Eating:  Exclusively Breast-feeding (has taken 2 bottles, just to try to get her used to them) and eats every 3 hours during the day
Temperament: A little cryer and pretty needy, but oh, so sweet and we love her anyway:)  Getting a LITTLE better at being content for a few minutes if I need to get something done.  Loves to be held!
Smiling and Cooing like a champ!

We sure love our Jorie love.  She was blessed this last Sunday-I'll have to write a post about that.
