I really need to learn to take my camera with me when we leave the house! Today we had a doctor's appointment for both B and E, stopped by Nana's house on the way home and ending up spending the afternoon there so that I could take N home from work early (he was sick). Did my visiting teaching, had FHE, visited a sick sister in the ward, went grocery shopping, and now here I am and 10pm finally getting to posting for the day.
I'm proud of this picture. Taken in the bathroom at night with zero natural light. Looking back, I should've changed my white balance, but I totally forgot! Bummer. But, I'm excited about the way I captured the water. B loves to pour water on himself, but rarely gets any on his actual tummy. One day I let him sit in the tub with the water running but not stopped (so the tub wouldn't fill up) and he literally sat "pouring water on himself" for 35 minutes. I love clumsy-18-month-old-coordination with all my heart.
I'm proud of myself because I needed a flash but I didn't want the hard glare, so I was holding a white book in front of my flash in order to diffuse the light (still don't have those handy gadgets) and focusing manually while trying not to get my camera wet. I'm thrilled that I got the splashing water in focus. High five.
